Terms and conditions of sale

1. The seller

2. The items

Items are described on their product page. Illustrations give an idea of the shape and do not replace the description; handcrafted pieces (ceramic, wood) show variations in colour and grain which are not defects.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros, including Belgian VAT (21%), delivery in Belgium and, where stated, engraving. There are no handling fees and no extra charges at checkout.

The applicable price is the one shown when the order is confirmed.

4. Ordering

Ordering takes four steps: basket, details, delivery, review. Before confirming, you see the full summary and can correct any step or return to the shop.

The contract is concluded when you click “Order with obligation to pay”. A confirmation is sent to you by email. Should an item prove unavailable, we inform you without delay and refund any amount already paid.

5. Payment

Payment by Bancontact or bank card, online through our payment service provider, or via a secure payment link sent by an adviser after your order. We do not store any card details.

Production or dispatch starts once payment is received, except for items intended for a funeral arranged by A&G Funeral, which may be added to the funeral invoice.

Private customers receive an invoice on request; companies always receive one. For a VAT-registered company, the invoice is issued electronically, in accordance with Belgian rules.

6. Delivery

Delivery in Belgium, to the address given, in neutral packaging. For a funeral arranged by A&G Funeral, the item can be delivered to the place of the ceremony or to the family.

The lead time depends on the workshop; we confirm it in writing after your order and it does not exceed thirty days unless otherwise agreed. If delivery does not take place within that time, you may cancel the order and be refunded.

Risk passes to you when you, or the person you designated, take physical possession of the item.

7. Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you have fourteen days from receipt of the item to withdraw, without giving any reason.

To do so, inform us by a clear statement — by email, by post, or using the withdrawal form — before the period expires. Then return the item within fourteen days, in good condition; return costs are borne by you.

We refund all payments received, including delivery, within fourteen days of your statement, using the same means of payment. We may withhold the refund until we have received the item or proof of its dispatch.

Exception: under Article VI.53, 3° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including items engraved at your request. This exception is presented to you, and you expressly accept it, before confirming an order that includes an engraving.

8. Guarantee

Items benefit from the two-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery that Belgian civil law provides for consumer sales. Let us know of any defect as soon as you notice it: we repair, replace or refund the item.

9. Personal data

Your data is used only to process your order. Details are set out in the shop’s privacy policy.

10. Questions and complaints

If no amicable solution is found, you may contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service free of charge (consumerombudsman.be).

These terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions protecting consumers in their country of residence.
